“But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons." Galatians 4:4-5
Christmas is when we celebrate that "God sent forth His Son." John 3:16 describes why He chose to do this. It says, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life." He provided a way that He could redeem us.
Verse 17 continues, "For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him." Christ is the Savior! He left the glories of heaven to be born a baby and live the perfect life that only the Son of God could live. On Easter, we then celebrate what He accomplished as the perfect sacrifice on the cross. He seals the deal.
Therefore, Christmas is the beginning of a promise fulfilled. Christ comes. Our Savior is born! Merry Christmas from Mike Goins Real Estate! May the Lord bless you and your family!
